I miss the connection the internet used to offer. Don't get me wrong, in many places and at many times it was a totally awful place. But surrounding everything terrible was community, intrigue, and genuine human interaction. Those terrible things that happened before still happen at the same rate as before, too, just in different places and probably better hidden, but now the internet is completely sterilized of anything real around those terrible things still happening today. It leaves the bad the only thing left. I love that I've found somewhere that it can be funky and weird and real still. I've never done any coding before (except little bits for my tumblr themes ages and ages ago) so I'll be learning as I go with this but I hope to do something cool!
